The split between Alaskas. One on land, the other on the water. Which is the best? That is not for me to say. What is for certain is that they are both wondrous and surprising at the same time. Now if the sun would shine just a little bit more often... This was one of those seldom sunny days.
Mmmmm! I smell salmon.
It is amazing how bears will adapt and use tools just as humans do. In this case the bears use the fish weir to trap the salmon unlike the bear above that fished the river below the weir.
If you look closely, you can see the eggs spray out onto the bear's fur. 
Probably my favorite expression...
Steve Miller's song kept twirling around my mind as I watched this guy fly overhead.
